🎤 The Life of a Go-Gurt
👋🏻 Your Next Era
ALARM goes off.
Wake up. Make coffee. Pack lunches. Shuttle kids. Work. Dinner. Sleep.
Repeat. 🔁
Sound familiar?
We all have a rhythm that works for our families, but sometimes we have to break the mold.
Last weekend, Swifties everywhere hit play on Taylor’s 12th studio album, and the internet lost its mind. 💿
Why bring this up in That’s B.A.?
Because Taylor (no relation 😅) just pulled off the most impressive creative balancing act in modern music history.
She wrote, produced, branded, and began marketing this album all while performing on her Era’s tour, in 51 cities across 21 countries 🌍
NBD. Just the largest tour in American history.
Leading up to the launch, she also created a dozen special editions, merch drops, and vinyls that sold out faster than your kid’s Go-Gurt stash.
Meanwhile, most of us can barely make it through the grocery store without forgetting the milk. 🐄
Point is, humans are capable of extraordinary things.
But if we live on autopilot—work, chores, sleep, repeat—we risk becoming ordinary.
And that’s not you.
You were born to shine ✨
To mess up, to try again, gain experience and stir things up when life gets too predictable.
And we’re here to help you with that
“We pledge allegiance to your hand, your team, your vibes”
The Fate of Neophobia 🎭
We want you to “Keep it 100 on the land, the sea, the sky”
You tell yourself:
“I’ll never be able to accomplish that”
“That’ll never be me”
“I’m not capable”
No different than the kids shouting “I don’t like broccoli”
But have you tried it??
Give it a chance, otherwise:
You’re committing to inactivity.
You’re becoming a mileage meter.
You’re repeating cycles like an engine.
Honestly, routines are fantastic.
We’ve mentioned it numerous times, even in our last episode.
That doesn’t mean you can’t have some wiggle room.
Seriously, when’s the last time you physically and literally wiggled??

💍 Transforming into Opalite
“Oh my lord, never met no one like you before…”
You think you’re average?
Nah fam.
Some of your habits are odd.
Some moves are offbeat.
Some jokes don’t land.
So what.
That’s your sparkle. Your edge. YOUR Eras Tour material.
Embracing your weirdness WILL improve your life.
Stretch the creativity of your soul, per se.
Lean into your quirks, they’re your superpower 🦸🏻
You don’t want to become stale, dried up overnight Play-Doh do you? 🪨
🥃 Father Figure
“Leave it with me…”
Most dads retire their “athleticism” after the kids show up.
Not in this dojo. 🥋
This past month I’ve:
🤸🏻♂️ Done cartwheels
😵💫 Pulled off a backwards somersault
🛹 Hit a skatepark ramp (first time in 20 years)
✈️ Laid in the grass watching airplanes
You know what? It felt amazing. Like being a kid again.
A feeling that we lose over time, unfortunately.
Unless…. we do something about it💡
As skateboard legend Jay Adams (Lords of Dogtown) once said:
“You didn’t quit skateboarding because you got old.
You got old because you quit skateboarding.” 🤯
The behaviors we have, forge us into who we are.
Those same behaviors are the same reason “couch potato” became a popular euphemism.
Wouldn’t you rather be curly fries, kettle chips, seasoned wedges or at least some garlic mashed potatoes with gravy?
Mmmmm now we’re talking. What’s on your menu?
🏡 Wi$h Li$t
“They want it allllll”
If the skatepark sounds like too much, that’s ok! We said we’re here for you dammit. 🫱🏼🫲🏻
Maybe start smaller.
To kick that old rudder back into rotation, try some of these methods:
📱 Digital detox – Unplug your face from that phone.
🧠 Odd restrictions – Use your non-dominant hand. Walk backwards. Slap door frames.
🚶🏻♂️ Physical breaks – Move every hour. Take walks. Dance for no reason. Be Creative
🌇 Context shifts – Check out a new spot. Change your route home. Switch it up
🧚 Divergent thinking – Let your mind wander. What would your dragon look like?
🕰️️ Rotate rituals – Swap am/pm routines (if possible). Reorder chores. Tweak your system.
🎭 Scheduled weirdness time – Listen to strange music, quote random movies, act a damn fool.
These micro-shifts wake up your brain.
They remind you that you’re alive and not automated.
We want to see you shine, because:
“You should have what you want
You deserve what you want
Hope you get what you want.”
💐 Thank You for the Lovely Bouquet
So take the stage. Make a scene.
Bring a little ruckus.
Some people waste their entire lives fearing judgment.
Judgment from others who were never even thinking about them.
Hate to break it to you, but no one’s watching that closely.
Everyone’s too busy with their own act.
That thing you’ve always wanted to try? 🎬
Go do it.

Sequins are forever. 🔆
Something That’s B.A.⏰🐼
Having a hard time getting those little ones to bed? Or are they waking up wayyyy too early on a Saturday morning? This contraption will help save your sanity and ultimately some sleep!
Super simple:
You set the sleep and wake times.
It gives a visual color representation to follow.
Orange - time to go to bed, Panda’s eyes close!
Green - time to wake up, Panda’s eyes open!
With a built-in nightlight and projector to help those kiddos stay calm and relaxed.
Karma’s a Relaxing Thought
We’re pivoting from some of the methods we started with. 😱
See? Even we take our own advice to stir up the pot sometimes.
Instead of preaching about Someone, Something AND a sponsor in every episode, we’re going to limit it to 1 of the above. ☝🏻
Partly to save your eyes some reading time. Partly to save our own time and research.
Know anyone/thing worth recognizing? Shout them out! 🗣️
Let’s get those local heroes and companies some more attention. They deserve it.
Until next week, keep living a life That’s B.A. 💙💛
