That’s B.A. – Origins Part 2✨
Becka's Background
Becka’s story starts in West Allis, where she was the firstborn in her family (don’t worry, sibling drama comes later 😏).
Her parents hustled through multiple jobs and housing moves before finally landing their dream home, with a pool to boot, when Becka was in elementary school. Hard work that paid off 💪.
Like many little girls, Becka’s world was filled with dolls, Barbies, pink outfits, and tea time (everybody agrees). Unlike Mrs. Nesbitt, Dad wanted no part of tea parties 👨🏻🚀🍵

She also had a genuine desire for creative arts; glue, glitter, crayons, construction paper,
The masterpieces she created deserved fridge-front display status. 🎨
Fast forward to today she’s still making magic happen, with three little helpers running around the house, displaying home décor and foliage that would make Joana Gaines jealous. 🪴
Sibling Savagery (aka Training for Parenthood) ✂️
Being the oldest meant Becka had not only front-row seats, but the lead role in her brother and sister’s plot to take over the world. The kind that patterns PTSD in her adult years.
Think scissor fights, hair pulling, and UFC cage matches within the confines of their home.
Our oldest son (A) can vouch that this gets tiring very quickly, watching his lil’ bros hash it out.
It’s a miracle her parents not only survived, but now they actually volunteer to watch the boys.
Full circle, right? 🤯
At one point, Becka literally split a room with her sister using tape down the middle.
Nothing was off-limits: toys, clothes, headbands, bracelets 👗
“What’s yours is mine” had a completely different narrative here…
It got to the point she moved into her closet for peace.
Shoutout to her imaginary friend, a face painted on a balloon while grounded. 🎈
Nowadays?
That same sister is the boys’ “Titi nanny” yelling out “Titi pretty!” on command
And her brother hosts her in Florida multiple times a year.
Becka befriends her brother and sister more than anyone could fathom 🫂
Of course, they have their tiffs periodically
but boy oh boy (Mickey voice) do they love each other.
Proof that sibling wars can evolve into sibling bonds… even if it takes 20 years 🤣.
School, Scouts & NSYNC 🕺🏻
Unlike her future husband, Becka loved school.
She soared academically, earning a presidential award signed by George W. Bush.
Outside the classroom, she balanced Girl Scouts, dance classes, and backyard choreographies with her best friend. (without the thirst to follow TikTok trends)
Oh, and her favorite band? NSYNC.
She was wrapped in merch like a corn tamale and knew every lyric
Half of TRL’s call-in votes can be traced back to her landline

If anyone is going to love her this much…. It’s gonna be me!🎶

Disney Runs Deep 🦁👑
Funny to think this scholar would one day ask the infamous, redundant question:
“How long is Shark Week?”
We all have our blonde moments
Even though she’s a beautiful brunette we have only experienced since Princess Belle…
kinda funny her beast of a Prince is named Adam, but let’s digress. 🤴🏻
From Lion King marathons to Disney Channel’s millennium lineup,
Becka was immersed in the magic. 🪄
There was no shortage of exposure to Walt’s creations growing up.
Family road trips to Orlando sealed the deal. 🚐
Today, she and Adam fully admit the Disney obsession is generational.
This is our call for help. The house of mouse addiction runs deep in our blood.
The kids don’t stand a chance. You’re all witnesses! 👀
Retail Creates a New Tale 💳
After high school, Becka worked nearly every store in the mall
She could be a steady tour guide and provide the most efficient route to your shopping venture.
Starby’s anyone? ☕
Then there was the Dippin Dots shindig at Miller Park 🍨
Kinda funny an ice cream girl and popcorn boy would fall for eachother
After giving a local university the good old college try,
she followed suit with her best friend and applied at Menard’s.
(Cue destiny moment.) 🌌 She eventually meets Adam. 👋🏻
With a little inspiration, she settled in to beauty school
A skill that still pays off with fresh cuts in the kitchen at a family discount 💇🏻♀️.
After numerous hangouts, these 2 started to develop something special 💖
A Different Kind of Fairy Tale 🍼
Life threw a wrench in the plans they thought they had.
Becka, at 21, found out she was pregnant. 🤰🏻
The phone call that started it all:
Becka: I have numerous symptoms, so I took a pregnancy test and it’s positive.
Adam: (completely in doubt) Are you sure? Maybe take another one? (Dumbass) 🤦🏻♂️
Becka: I took 3. It’s pretty much a guarantee.
Adam: (still in doubt) Well I have to go to work. We’ll figure it out. I’ll call you later.
With her characteristic strength, Becka took charge.
She leaned on close friends, asked questions, and started preparing for what was ahead.
While Adam was still catching up, Becka was already leading.
Something only a motherly instinct can explain.
And damn was it impressive 😍
At 21, she could have been focused on nights out, road trips, and carefree adventures.
Instead, she stepped into motherhood with fierce determination. Yasssss Queen!
Even though they weren’t officially dating, Adam and Becka agreed on one thing:
Full commitment to doing what was best for the baby.
No pettiness.
No selfishness.
Just pure acknowledgement that something bigger was on the horizon 🌅
You better put a ring on it💍
Ain’t it funny how life changes?
Forget the traditional storybook:
First came the baby carriage, then came love, then came marriage.
How did Adam pop the question, you ask?
Tune in next week for the conclusion to Becka and Adam’s story. 😉
TO BE CONTINUED… ⏲️
Someone That’s B.A. 👩🏼🎤Taylor Swift
Would it even be a story about Becka without mentioning Taylor Swift? Every waking moment she is trying to figure out what TS is plotting next, and it is hard to keep up, people.
Like her or not, she is having a global impact and changing lives serendipitously manifesting every move she makes. The Era’s tour was an absolute game changer in 'Swiftonomics'
We went and saw her in Chicago 2023 and then again in Gelsenkirchen, Germany 2024.
Amazing is an understatement. She is able to design and manage a physically demanding 3 hour show 3 times a week. Makes our average 40 hour week seem like a cake walk.
