Can You Feel the Love Tonight? 🦁
Surrounding Yourself With Success 🧲

There’s no shortage of love when you’re building your family dynasty.
(Well… except when the kids are driving you nuts 😅).
They surround you.
They ask the wildest questions.
They actually listen sometimes.
And, most importantly, they look up to you.
But here’s the kicker: this isn’t just about them. It’s about YOU.
Because when you surround yourself with the right people:
high performers, encouragers, and/or supporters
They don’t just make you feel better.
They make you want to BE better. 🚀
The Power of Proximity 📍
Northwestern University ran a study with a shocking realization:
“Sitting within 25 feet of a “high performer” can increase your own performance by 15%.”
Successful workers.
Successful businesses.
Successful parents.
Successful PEOPLE.
That’s like a cheat code for life. 🎮
“But that’s too easy, it can’t be true” you say to yourself.
Think about it:
If you want to learn a new skill,
You don’t ask the guy who quit after day one.
You look to the expert.
They’ve been through trial and error, sharpened their craft, and figured out the playbook.
We’re not saying become a brown-noser to all those above you. 🙊
Simply follow their lead. Study their actions. Model their discipline.
Whether that’s an accredited coworker, a thriving parent or influencer wizard (That’s B.A.?)
Do it long enough, and you’ll start to see your own results multiply. 🧫

An Invisible String 🧵
At work, it’s easy to spot the person who gets things done
They’re efficient and reliable. 🔬
How does the company view them?
They’re valuable and they get rewarded.
Now imagine sitting near them.
Siphoning their talents like a wisp in the woods. 🌬️
Their habits rub off.
Your tasks get easier.
Your value grows. 🧙🏼♀️
For context (and for my fellow nerds 🤓):
Say you’re making $60k, that 15% productivity boost is the equivalent of a $9,000 raise just for being in the right environment.
Literally nothing else changes except your positioning.
Crazy, right?
Here’s the proof. 🧪
Some of the most successful and influential individuals had mentors they looked up to:
Plato learned from Socrates
Alexander the Great had Aristotle
Bob Dylan took after Woody Guthrie
Yves Saint-Lauren worked under Christian Dior
Bill Gates still asks for guidance from Warren Buffet
Henry David Thoreau took after Ralph Waldo Emerson
Characters we would describe as outstanding in their field needed support.
Chances are, you do too 😇
Flip the Script ⚠️
BEWARE!
Like a caution taped haunted house,
there might be something ready to jump out and take your breath away
(if not your soul muhahahaha) 👻
Sorry, just a little excited for Halloween, That’s B.A. all🎃
But get this,
Sit next to a low performer
(negative, toxic, gossip-happy)
and your performance tanks. 📉
Negativity spreads faster than good vibes (Ever watch the News?)
We’ve all seen it: one miserable coworker can poison a whole floor 😱.
Moral of the story? Guard your circle.
Choose sunshine and rainbows 🌈🦄
Not storm clouds and pity parties. ️⛈️
Consumption Junction 🍔
“You are what you eat”
If that’s the case, then these kids are nothing but mac’n’cheese and chicky nuggies
With great metabolism, they’ll be fine.
But for us, it’s a different equation
Eat crap + Consume crap = Feel like crap 💩
Be conscious of your mental diet.
Feed yourself positivity, skill, knowledge → You level up.
Consume gossip, hate, toxicity → You burn out. 😪
The gym maestro is in impressive shape for a reason.
The local bakery has delicious treats for a reason.
The Excel sheets expert is skillful for a reason
The people you admire aren’t successful by accident.
They put in the work. They followed good examples. They learned.
You can too.
The Ripple Effect 🌊
We all have our own influencers.
Maybe it’s an online presence, maybe it’s your grandparents. 👴🏼
No matter who you look up to, WE ARE our kids’ influencers
So ask yourself:
👉🏼 Do you want to be the high performer raising the bar? (B.A.)
👉🏼 Or the mope dwelling cynic stifling potential impact? (not B.A.)
Be the example they need.
Be the example you need.
You don’t have to do this alone. 🫂
Even if you feel isolated, someone out there cares, roots for you, and believes in you. 🙌🏼
Latch on to something bigger. Surround yourself with people who lift you higher.
But careful… you just might become the next big thing. 👏🏻
